6ac life on the coast

This exhibit transports visitors to the bustling Umm an-Nar port, immersing them in the daily activity of this vibrant trading hub. Visitors witness boats being loaded and unloaded with traded goods, particularly dates, bitumen, cloth, and copper, bringing the rhythms of commerce to life. The experience then shifts to follow a trader and their crew as they venture into open waters, navigating established trade routes and revealing the maritime networks that connected distant communities.
